To give readers of the logs more of a sense of continuity, I'd also write "What has gone before" introductions to them, and sometimes side prose snippets as well to link them together. Once I started doing this, people started telling me that reading my logs was just like reading a novel...

I would point and laugh, but I used to do the same darned thing. (Not for PernMUSH, and I never set foot on Aether -- I was over in the Amber universe, with the occasional drive-bys on WOD MUSHes.) The habit carried over to EVE Online RP. I haven't done any of that in a long time, but every now and then I get the urge to scribble in that universe.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5858828969874855814.post-65858788277642801512013-04-15T10:39:41.065-04:002013-04-15T10:39:41.065-04:00I flop around in Second Life as a clockwork dragon...I flop around in Second Life as a clockwork dragon...

XDSheryl Nantushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01157927306226252817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5858828969874855814.post-37491561018503617172013-04-14T15:10:43.289-04:002013-04-14T15:10:43.289-04:00I did DC Universe for a while, but I'm not muc...I did DC Universe for a while, but I'm not much of a gamer. I love watching "The Guild" but sadly it didn't inspire me to give gaming much of a shot. Your post has me thinking though. Congrats on your release tomorrow!
