I blurted out that I'm a total whore and write for money, and I'm not ashamed of it. It got a laugh from the audience, which, you know, is part of my brand -- the humor thing. But it wasn't a lie. It's not that I don't feel like I'm making art of some kind. But I am telling the stories I want to read, while also considering what's likely to sell. <br /><br />Be proud of what you've accomplished, Jeffe. You're versatile and can go either way.
