My favorite deck is the Victoria Regina, and I use for a very analytic SWOT analysis square: What (in this moment/scene/book) is my character's Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat? Even if I don't use what I pull up, it at least breaks my mind out of the hole.Keri Stevenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13958093932654844690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5858828969874855814.post-44127438240141414372011-04-14T17:01:29.034-04:002011-04-14T17:01:29.034-04:00Very interesting. If nothing else, I think they can help us tap into our subconscious and find answers we already knew but didn't know we had.Jane Kindredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14620651445338259619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5858828969874855814.post-35078591025711500612011-04-13T21:03:38.457-04:002011-04-13T21:03:38.457-04:00Hi Jane -

My mother told the story how she had a Tarot reading when my older brother was born and laughed when the woman told her he would have to go through three marriages before he found the right woman. Someday I'd like to actually create the deck, but apparently tarot decks are harder to get published than books. (groan)

Fantasy author Lynn Flewelling was working on a deck based on her Nightrunner books and couldn't find a publisher. Made me sad; I so wanted to own it, and she had one of the best artists lined up.Jane Kindredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14620651445338259619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5858828969874855814.post-86097977754653010082011-04-13T12:01:42.588-04:002011-04-13T12:01:42.588-04:00Great idea, Jane!Great idea, Jane!Cindy Spencer Papehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01583236494759465431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5858828969874855814.post-78953790645167386842011-04-13T10:33:40.258-04:002011-04-13T10:33:40.258-04:00Jane, I love this post!
