Veteran's Day, Thank You

Yesterday the Marine Corps had its 237th birthday. Today, America celebrates Veteran's Day, remembering all those who fought to defend our country. A big, big thanks to those of you who contributed to our nation's safety. I spent five wonderful years in the Marine Corps and loved it wholeheartedly. Fortunately, I never had to go to war, and I can't imagine how hard it would be to come back from an experience like that.

The notion of sacrifice, integrity, and honor are right there at the forefront of my mind when I think of those who serve/served in the armed forces. Real people making real decisions that impact others. Long stretches away from family, unity in bonding with those also going through hard times, away from home.

If you haven't thanked a Veteran, do so today. Remember all those who died serving our country, and appreciate those who serve it still.
